LOVEBIRDS & SPACE SHUTTLES
A group exhibition organized by Ad de Jong and Esther de Graaf in the city of Groningen.
A new temporary public art space in a former post office made of wood, with sloping walls. You can eat and work, read and watch new works made by 43 artists. The paintings, drawings and sculptures hang, stand and lie close to each other, a physical space where the viewer is the link. The exhibition shows extremes made out of a desire, revealing images which can connect us with our future. In the morning and late afternoon the sun shines on the wood and the artworks from different sides. The potato walls create a utopian earthly place for you in the former post office of Groningen.
