WALLS OF KOLKATA
Many of the walls in Kolkata have stones put into them. These stones are there to keep the posters away. During my residency at CARF in Kolkata in 2019, by the Mondriaan Fund, I made several casts of the walls and noted the GPS locations of them. Back in the Netherlands I made new casts, gave them new paint job and remade them into fresh new paintings.
