The most important things are not things
My mother has trouble naming things and finds it difficult to remember things due to dementia. Whereas I try to let go of limiting thoughts in my working process. An important aspect in my work is creating and finding things without definition, meaning or naming. As it becomes increasingly difficult to communicate verbally with my mother, I took her along in an attempt to create something, or rather nothing, together.
